Swiss-Japan Conference Unites Experts to Address Global Energy Challenges

In an era of increasing energy demands and climate concerns, Switzerland and Japan are joining forces to tackle these challenges head-on. The inaugural Swiss-Japan Energy Days, set for September 10-11, 2024, brings together experts from both nations in a unique dual-location format at ETH Zürich and Swissnex in Japan.

This pioneering conference aims to address the complex energy sector challenges faced by Switzerland and Japan. Both countries, known for their technological prowess and commitment to sustainability, are seeking solutions to reduce their reliance on energy imports and decarbonize their energy systems.

The event focuses on three critical areas:

This collaborative effort is organized by Swissnex in Japan and the Energy Science Center of ETH Zurich, alongside several partner organizations in Switzerland and Japan. The Swiss-Japan Energy Days are part of the broader "Swiss Vitality Days 2024" campaign, exploring solutions in health, sustainability, and innovation.
